From June 2024 to January 2025, the Longmont Museum in Longmont, Colorado, hosted an exhibit celebrating LEGO called “Build: Design & Create with LEGO!”

The exhibit included several interactive activities: visitors could build a bridge and test how much weight it could hold with bean bags, build a catapult and test its accuracy and power, and even construct the tallest structure possible to test its mettle against an earthquake simulator!
Displays included a huge collection of minifigs, an old set of Samsonite LEGO bricks manufactured in a now-closed factory in Loveland, CO, and life-size minifigs!
DENLUG members displayed their creations as well. From carefully planned collaborations to imaginative and nostalgic builds, there was a little bit of something for everyone.
If you didn’t get the chance to visit the exhibit in person, check out our gallery below!
